Our full call for papers is now out and available .ÌýHOTCUS will be pleased to welcome proposals for individual papers, but particularlyÌýencourages interested members to consider developing innovative panels and roundtables, including state of the field discussions, reassessments of key texts, and fora thatÌýexplore issues in research, career development, and pedagogy.ÌýTo facilitate the development of proposals, HOTCUS has set up an online form () where potential applicants can share ideas and invite collaboration.
Postgraduate andÌýearly career scholars are alsoÌýencouraged to apply to ourÌýworkshopÌýwith Professor Preston, which will take place onÌýJune 18, 2025.ÌýÌýThe workshop will provide a supportive space for PhD students andÌýearly career scholars to present and receive feedback on chapters, articles, or detailed research proposals. Up to 4 participants will be selected to share a piece of writing of up to 8,000 words for discussion and feedback from Professor Preston and other workshop participants. Postgraduates andÌýearly career scholars are welcome to apply to present work at both the main conference and the workshop if they wish.
